The Power of Pin 8

Innodisk presents their new-patented Pin 8 VCC technology in the latest SATADOM® and ServerDOM™ series. The Pin 8 design uses the SATA connector as a power source to drive the device without an external power cable and simplifies cable routing. This provides a seamless physical connection between the SSD and motherboard while increasing system reliability. With these advantages, SATADOM® is perfect in various types of server applications and industrial embedded systems applications especially when high degrees of vibration and wide temperature is a factor.

The SATADOM®
Innodisk flexes their muscles while growing market share with the SATADOM® in the server industry. Innodisk pioneered the SATADOM® because there was no other product on the market that can simplify a system's overall design. Innodisk's SATADOM® designed with their patented Power Pin 7 or Pin 8, works seamlessly with their motherboard partners. Since this design will require no external power cable, it streamlines installation, improves chassis airflow, and increases system capacity by freeing up a drive bay. Touting the highest capacity and fastest performance, it also comes in over seven mechanical form factors to fit various system design.

ServerDOM™ Products

Innodisk also presents their compact product that packs a punch, the ServerDOM™. This product is an excellent boot drive and compatible with all operating systems. It has small-scaled dimensions (0.7 X 1.2 X 0.3 inch) and can easily connect to SATA ports in tight and narrow positions on board sockets. With its compact size, high performance and high reliability, this flexible product can work under harsh environments with demanding workloads. Performance is key with the ServerDOM™.

Server DRAM Products

Innodisk will display their performance driven server memory products that includes DDR4 and Load-Reduced DIMM modules. These products belong to our DDR4 family, which increases capacity to 64GB and memory speeds up to 2400 MHz. It uses 20% less power than DDR3 and has higher memory density and lower voltage requirements with a higher data rate transfer speeds. This benefit allows for significant power savings in data centers. Also designed for high performance computing, is the Load-Reduced DIMM(s). It has a special buffer to reduce heavy-load data to single-load data. With LR-DIMM, servers can add more memory per channel with fewer loads, and increase their memory capacity. Innodisk's registered DIMM modules are designed to ensure data integrity at the device and system-level of the server.
